Description:
Renovation of an existing, distinctive retail building in Beverly Hills to house a new home furnishing store. The main design element consisted of a new steel and wood mezzanine supported on isolated footings to meet stringent seismic criteria. Other components included a new elevator shaft, repairs to existing exposed wood roof trusses, new skylights, and new rooftop equipment dunnage.
