Description:
Stratford Engineering has completed numerous retail projects for a variety of high-profile clients across the nation, including brand names such as Michael Kors, Coach, Adidas, Forever 21, BCBG, as well as mall owners such as Vornado Realty Trust and Simon Property Group. Our transformation of an existing movie theater at King’s Plaza Mall in Brooklyn into a new space for Best Buy is among our largest and most structurally involved retail renovations to date, totalling over 100,000 square feet of new or reinforced floor areas.
The existing sloped slabs of the cinema were replaced with new concrete slabs supported on steel framing. Additional components included the installation of new escalators, egress stairs, passenger elevators, expansion of an existing rooftop loading dock, and a new addition for car audio services. Our extensive experience in the retail sector allowed us to meet the client’s needs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
