Roosevelt Park with a brick exterior. The mixed-use building has commercial retail space on the ground floor and loft office space on the floors above.<\/p>\n<p>Stratford Engineering was in charge of designing the foundation and superstructure of the building. The foundation consists of mat slabs and cast-in-place reinforced concrete walls which support the steel superstructure above.\u00a0The floors are comprised of composite metal deck on steel framing. The lateral load-resisting system for the superstructure is a dual system - steel moment frames in the front and rear of the building, and cast-in-place reinforced concrete shear walls along the core of the structure.
