Stratford Engineering worked alongside Station Companies and Hustvedt Cutler Architects on the new apartment building in Flatbush, New York, completed in 2019. The structure is comprised of CMU block walls, with steel beams and columns and a metal deck slab system. The lateral force resisting system consists of both reinforced CMU walls, and steel moment frames and brace frames located at the front of the building. Stratford Engineering was responsible for the full structural design of the building, including foundation, and was also responsible for special inspections throughout the construction process.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
