Description:
An existing 19th century brick and timber warehouse in Red Hook, Brooklyn, was converted into a new exhibition space for the Pioneer Works Center for Art and Innovation. The original wood framing was restored and structurally reinforced to preserve the unique, rustic aesthetic for the space. Additional structural work included new slab on grade, new stair towers, and a new mechanical loft.
