Description:
Stratford Engineering was brought in to design a new 12-story multi-family residential building with two levels of parking. The new 37,000 square-foot residential building is a cast-in-place concrete structure using flat plate slabs and reinforced concrete shear walls and concrete columns. In addition to designing the superstructure of the building, Stratford Engineering also provided Support of Excavation drawings and designed the foundation system. The foundation consisted of various mat slabs, grade beams and spread/wall footings to support the cast-in-place concrete structure above.
