Description:
This project is a new 55,000 square foot multi-unit residential building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Stratford Engineering designed a two-way concrete structure for Peter Poon Architect that allows for open floor plans, a flexible column grid, and fast, easy erection. Steel dunnage and acoustical screens on the roof conceal mechanical equipment, allowing the roof to be used as a private recreational terrace for the penthouse apartments.
