Also known as Glassworks Bushwick, 336 Himrod Street merges new & historic construction to provide a unique 66 unit rental building. Stratford Engineering preserved and re-supported the central building with a new partial basement level added below existing slab-on-grade level. Key components of structural work included:
- Support of excavation design
- New composite steel framing levels on both sides of the original factory building
- Braced frames on the perimeter of the structure
- A new public roof terrace
