Description:
A complete gut renovation of an existing townhouse in the West Village. Massive underpinning work was completed to create a sub-cellar recording studio with double height ceilings. Innovative steel, concrete, and wood framing used interchangeably throughout the project to keep the structure as thin as possible to maximize ceiling heights. In addition to the cellar work, a new rear addition with catwalk and spiral stair was constructed.
