Description:
Gut renovation and addition of an existing beach house on the ocean in Southampton, NY. The existing building, unlike most houses in the area, consists of masonry block bearing walls and precast concrete plank flooring. After interior demolition, substantial damage was discovered to the existing plan framing in multiple areas in need of repair. Structural scope also consisted of new sloped skylight above kitchen, new walkable skylights throughout the house, new master bedroom addition at east side of house, custom concrete hot tub, and new fabric & cable awnings.
